Zendaya Honors Cher with a Bob Mackie Fall ’01 Dress at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Gala

Zendaya dazzled on the red carpet at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction on Saturday, paying homage to the legendary Cher. She wore a gold vintage Bob Mackie dress from Fall 2001, featuring intricate beading and cutouts that showed off her abs. This gown was reminiscent of a similar one Cher famously wore in 1972.

Celebrity stylist Law Roach masterminded this stunning fashion moment. He described the dress as a “nude illusion halter-gown, entirely hand-beaded in gold, diamond, and iridescent bugle beads, along with aurora borealis stones.”

With her long, straight hair, Zendaya looked incredible standing behind Cher during her induction speech. The dress, originally part of Bob Mackie’s ‘Foreign Intrigue’ collection, was paired with a silk satin trench coat boasting an exaggerated collar and cuffs.

Zendaya’s look was a hit on social media, gathering nearly 40,000 likes on Fashion Bomb Daily’s Instagram page. Fans were blown away by her appearance, with one user commenting on Zendaya’s natural talent and beauty, suggesting she could easily dominate the modeling world. Another user praised her outfit, calling it sheer perfection from head to toe.
