Issa Rae has just launched her new Prosecco brand called Viarae Wines, and it’s amazing! Los Angeles Magazine reports that Viarae is a collaboration between Rae and the California-based E. & J. Gallo Winery. Known for popular supermarket brands like Barefoot Bubbly and La Marca, as well as some upscale labels, this partnership aims to provide a sparkling wine perfect for any occasion.
Issa Rae is not just sticking to TV shows like “Awkward Black Girl” and “Insecure” or running her LA coffee shop, Hilltop Coffee+Kitchen. She’s now venturing into the wine business, showing once again her versatility and creativity.
At the launch event, Claire Sulmers, CEO of Fashion Bomb, joined in the celebration, sporting a stunning red dress by Ricki Brazil. Issa herself looked stylish in a chocolate brown bodycon dress paired with gold jewelry and auburn curls, making her look radiant.
Both Rae and Sulmers, who share the same birthday, enjoyed the event by mingling and dancing while sipping on Viarae Prosecco. This sparkling wine is made from 100% Glera grapes and produced by the La Marca cooperative in Northern Italy’s Treviso region.
Fashion designer LaQuan Smith also made a fashionable entrance in a mahogany turtleneck layered with a chocolate leather jacket and medium-washed jeans. His look was completed with eye-catching black and white printed boots.
Actress and singer Cynthia Erivo looked chic in a black blazer layered over a graphic tee, accessorized with a chunky silver necklace. Her bold maroon lips and smokey eyeshadow perfectly complemented her outfit.
Football star Antonio Brown chose an innovative hairstyle with bantu knots wrapped in gold clips, adding flair to his black outfit. He partied the night away, proudly holding up a bottle of Viarae wine.
The launch event was a hit, with everyone enjoying themselves and showing support for Issa Rae’s latest endeavor.
