Kim Shui’s Fall 2024 collection, showcased at Irving Plaza on Friday, celebrated the ‘Year of the Dragon’ for Lunar New Year. Featuring 34 designs, her collection was full of dragon-inspired elements like leather, snakeskin, and striking silhouettes. True to her style, Shui incorporated lace, mixed prints, and fur into her pieces.
She also introduced playful touches with vibrant colors such as lime green and hot pink, alongside creative sleeve designs that wrapped around arms and legs. Textured gloves were added for extra flair.
The collection didn’t lack in eye-catching accessories either, with models sporting unique looks thanks to Poppy Lissiman and Akila sunglasses. The strappy and fur heels contributed to the avant-garde vibe of the show.
