Designer Jason Wu has impressed us again with his stunning clothing creations. At New York Fashion Week, Wu teamed up with 82-year-old Taiwanese calligrapher Tong Yang-Tze for his Spring 2025 collection.
With a striking black structural backdrop in the Hudson Yards garden, models showcased elegant and avant-garde outfits that stood out for their texture and modernity. Reflecting the current times, the collection featured unfinished hems and deconstructed silhouettes, symbolizing adaptability and new beginnings.
Tong Yang-Tze, famed for her large-scale black cursive calligraphy, inspired Wu’s collection, which was evident on his neutral-toned pieces. The clothes were adorned with free-form writing, sheer fabrics, and pleats, reflecting the Taiwanese designer’s rebellious yet stylish approach.

The color brown, a staple for the upcoming fall season, will transition beautifully into Spring 2025.
