AN INTIMATE GLIMPSE INTO TORY BURCH’S MOST PERSONAL STORE

Tory Burch is welcoming everyone to check out her new store, located at 151 Mercer Street in SoHo. This new flagship is just a stone’s throw from the first boutique she opened on Elizabeth Street back in 2004. Fast forward nearly two decades, and she’s opened this new location, reaffirming her love for New York City.

Burch expressed her excitement about the new Mercer Street store, saying the design reflects an evolution of the brand’s retail style. She enjoyed the creative process, blending modern space with her signature decorative elements and personal touches, making the downtown location feel like a homecoming.

A visit to this spacious, multi-level 6,000 square-foot store showcases Burch’s unique creative vision. Collaborating with architect Gwenael Nicolas, who has a rich background merging French and Japanese influences, the store combines cultural hominess with minimalist high fashion. The design prominently features oak, rattan, and brass, striking a blend between contemporary trends and traditional elements. Customers are drawn in by wood and ceramic parquet flooring while wicker honeycomb structures display accessories and vintage patchwork quilts highlight artisanal craftsmanship.

Emphasizing the homecoming theme, Burch added personal and sentimental touches throughout the store. These include woven baskets hanging from the ceilings reminiscent of her childhood kitchen, as well as pottery and art she has collected during her travels.

The boutique features the full range of Tory Burch products, including ready-to-wear clothes, footwear, handbags, home decor, and exclusive items like the 151 Mercer handbags and a special edition of Lee Radziwill Double Bags available only at this location. Welcome to the new Tory Burch store!
