A Glimpse into Tory Burch's Most Intimate Store Experience Yet

Tory Burch just opened her new flagship store at 151 Mercer Street in SoHo, and we’re all invited to join the celebration! This new location is just a short walk from her first boutique on Elizabeth Street, which opened back in 2004. Less than 20 years later, Burch is celebrating her love for New York City with this new store.

Burch shared her excitement about the Mercer Street store, highlighting how it represents an evolution of the brand’s retail style. She enjoyed combining a modern space with personal decorative elements, and the downtown location feels like a return to her roots.

The new 6,000 square-foot, multi-level store is a blend of cultural elements and minimalist high fashion. In collaboration with architect Gwenael Nicolas, Burch created a space inspired by both his expertise and her own cultural interests. Materials like oak, rattan, and brass are featured throughout the store, balancing trendy and traditional styles. Visitors will notice the wooden and ceramic parquet flooring, wicker structures for displaying accessories, and vintage patchwork quilts that showcase artisanal craftsmanship.

To give the store a personal touch, Burch included elements that are meaningful to her, like woven baskets hanging from the ceilings reminiscent of her childhood kitchen and pottery and art she has collected from her travels around the world.

As for what’s in stock, the boutique features the full Tory Burch collection, including ready-to-wear items, footwear, handbags, home decor, and the new 151 Mercer handbags. There’s also a limited-edition collection of Lee Radziwill Double Bags, which are exclusive to this location. Welcome home!
