Almost ten years after graduating college and teaching herself to sew using YouTube tutorials and other online resources, Monét decided it was time for a rebrand. Despite facing numerous challenges as a self-taught designer, she was determined to succeed. Through trial and error, she learned to source high-quality fabrics and design stunning pieces. Inspired by her time in Europe, Monét’s recent collection at New York Fashion Week featured neutral tones instead of vibrant colors and prints. This marked her first time showcasing at New York Fashion Week, despite having participated in LA and London fashion weeks before. She was thrilled about the opportunity, especially since it was for her favorite fashion blog, Fashion Bomb Daily.
