The Bomb Fashion Show on Saturday night at Chelsea Industrial in New York City was nothing short of spectacular. NeNe Leakes, the cultural icon known for her sass and flair, kicked off the event with her sharp commentary and fabulous looks from the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop.
It felt like a Bravo Real Housewives reunion with Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, and Marlo Hampton in attendance to support Fashion Bomb CEO Claire Sulmers and NeNe Leakes. The show started with an energetic drum performance by the March Cobras of New York.
Designer Jolie Duzon from St. Maarten was first up, dazzling the crowd with her vibrant and eye-catching dresses. Then, Canadian designer Fayah Athletics impressed with bold unisex kimonos, corsets, and modern silhouettes. Delisa Rose turned up the heat with her sexy yet sophisticated lingerie line, including a stunning bridal collection.
Twin brothers Bruce and Glen took the runway with their bright and unique rainbow-print ensembles, redefining fashion norms. Meanwhile, Tashee Inc. presented her Natasha Honeymoon Summer ’24 resort collection, featuring chic all-white maxi dresses, swimwear, linen sets, and more, perfect for bridal getaways.
After a brief intermission, rapper Big Boss Vette wowed the crowd with her performance in a striking two-piece Diesel outfit. Designer CBN.Chicago brought elegance to the runway with silk, sequins, and floral designs, showcasing stylish options for a night out.
Allison Elizabeth Brown blended denim with leather and fur, expressing her pride in being part of the Bomb Fashion Show. Tiara Peach of the Fur and Leather Centre stunned with her luxurious fur creations, from coats to imaginative accessories.
Don Morphy closed the show with sophisticated, tailored suits for men, proving why he’s a top name in menswear. The event also featured notable fashion figures like Ty Hunter, Law Roach, and Misa Hylton, who discussed her Fashion Academy and its mission to support future style stars.
Claire Sulmers highlighted that a portion of ticket sales would support Hylton’s Fashion Academy, continuing her mentorship for young talent.
The show was made possible by sponsors like Joy Kingsley and her Kingsley Models, Mielle Organics, Silver & Riley, Lagos New York, and SLAYYY Hair. Over 100 models and 50 hair and makeup artists worked backstage, managed flawlessly by Joy Kingsley. Mielle Organics provided hair products and goodie bags for attendees. Lagos New York offered flavorful cuisine and a well-stocked bar, ensuring guests were well-fed and entertained. SLAYYY Hair’s CEO Diann Valentine treated VIP guests to their unique anti-itch hair products.
