Anifa, who started her collection in 2012, has gained significant attention from celebrities and fashion enthusiasts. Reflecting on her journey, she credits “Fashion Bomb Daily” for highlighting Hanifa and helping it reach its primary audience of black women.
Inspired by New York City, Anifa’s new collection uses animal prints and textures to mirror the city’s diversity and energy. Originally planning to participate in New York Fashion Week, she ultimately chose to present her collection independently, embracing the “It Girl” theme which resonates with her personal and professional identity.
