Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week is back, and Megan Thee Stallion is making a splash. Known for her bold fashion choices, the Houston native stepped out on Monday in her first-ever couture gown at the Giambattista Valli SS25 Couture show, looking absolutely stunning.

In a chat with WWD while sitting front row, Megan shared her excitement about her couture debut, noting, “This is my first couture moment. Oh my gosh! It only took two tries to get it right. I learned that couture is handmade and super exclusive, and I feel really beautiful.”

Haute Couture started in 1858, created by Charles Frederick Worth, and was originally for the elite 1% who wore unique, handmade pieces. The exclusive world of couture was invitation-only, often excluding minorities from experiencing these high-end designs. Seeing Megan in a Giambattista Valli haute couture gown is a significant moment for black women everywhere.

Meg’s stylish look was crafted by her stylist Eric Archibald, featuring a gorgeous apricot-colored hooded chiffon dress by Giambattista Valli. The dress had beautiful feather details at the waist and draped perfectly around her body.

On Instagram, one fan described the look as “vintage European beauty,” reminiscent of enjoying tea while gazing over the Parisian countryside in spring.

For her makeup, Priscilla Ono worked her magic, leaving Megan flawless. Celebrity hairstylist Kellon Deryck added the finishing touch with expertly styled kiss curls on her forehead, paying homage to the legendary French singer and dancer Josephine Baker.

Megan’s confidence was perhaps her best accessory, as fans and media couldn’t get enough of her incredible look.
