At a conference in February, Wintour mentioned that if Vogue World: New York was like a street fair and Vogue World: London was a glamorous theater night supporting arts and cultural groups, then Paris was envisioned as an opening ceremony celebrating a century of fashion and sport, alongside the city’s unique charm.
With the 2024 Summer Olympics approaching, the event creatively integrated various sports like gymnastics, tennis, fencing, and cycling into the performances, choreographed by the renowned dancer Parris Goebel.
