Christian Siriano never fails to impress with each new season. In his latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, he brings a fresh take on glamour that’s both captivating and clever. Drawing inspiration from the 1965 novel ‘Dune’ and its movie adaptations, Siriano embraced a futuristic vibe, imagining what evening wear might look like in a sci-fi, apocalyptic desert setting.
The runway at the Plaza Hotel in New York City was alive with vibrant burnt orange and red shades, liquid metallics, and shimmering black tinsel adorning the models. Siriano, having honed his craft under legends like Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, has carved out his own distinct style that quickly won over the fashion world.
For this collection, he aimed to combine power and strength with romantic elegance, staying true to his unique aesthetic. The runway show was packed with bold statement pieces that would be right at home on the red carpet or at the Met Gala.
Supermodel Coco Rocha embodied Siriano’s vision perfectly in an extravagant white silk gown with a dramatic tulle ruffled top. The gold foil in her hair added an ethereal and modern touch to her look. The show attracted a star-studded audience, including Claire Sulmers, Alicia Silverstone, Sophia Bush, Ashlee Simpson, Busy Philipps, and many others.
