The 2024 iHeartRadio Awards kicked off April with a bang! From Beyoncé accepting the ‘Innovator Award’ and Cher grabbing the ‘Icon Award’ to stars like Jennifer Hudson and Latto shining on the red carpet, this event was truly memorable.
Beyoncé, who just dropped her ‘Cowboy Carter’ country album last Friday, arrived in high spirits. She rocked an all-black Vintage Versace ensemble—put together by the talented Shiona Turini—which featured a leather fringe jacket, leather studded pants, layered studded belts, and a cowgirl hat with a gold Versace emblem.
It was refreshing to see Beyoncé branching out from her usual Louis Vuitton outfits, especially since LV’s latest collection, led by Pharrell, is Western-themed. It almost feels like Pharrell anticipated the trend that Beyoncé’s new album would set.
Cher also turned heads in an all-black ensemble, arriving with her boyfriend Alexander Edwards. Dressed in an embellished Chrome Hearts top with rhinestones and chic black cargo pants with suspenders, she looked stunning. Her diamond necklace added a perfect touch of glam.
Jennifer Hudson dazzled on the red carpet and took the stage with Cher for an incredible duet of ‘Believe’. Jennifer’s silver metallic Taller Marmo dress with grey feather detailing and silver pumps was a showstopper.
Latto, on the other hand, showed off her style in a strapless red mini dress by Fanci Club, complete with 3D floral accents at the hem. She paired it with red open-toe heels and heart-shaped earrings, creating a bold monochromatic look.
