Kim Kardashian turned heads by transforming into a blonde bombshell in her recent photoshoot, paying homage to the late Marilyn Monroe. This isn’t the first time Kardashian has channeled Monroe; you might remember her wearing the iconic “Happy Birthday” dress from 1962 at the 2022 MET Gala.
Kardashian and Monroe seem to share more similarities than just their sex symbol status. Monroe, a major figure in the late ’50s and early ’60s, was also an advocate for civil rights and gender equality, causes Kardashian also supports.
In the photoshoot, Kardashian stunned in a long embellished Fendi dress that was sheer, accentuating her curves. She paired the dress with white, pointy-toe Stella McCartney heels, which stood out against the wooden platform she posed on.
As she turned away from the camera, viewers were reminded of her 2014 sensation where she famously balanced a champagne glass on her rear for Paper Magazine.
Kardashian is never shy about her fashion choices, often using them as a form of self-expression and, perhaps, female empowerment. Some might see her style as bold and empowering, while others may have different opinions.
