The Mielle Organics ‘Beauty Con’ booth at the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans was a haven for hair enthusiasts, offering loads of inspiration and innovation. Founder Monique Rodriguez, a regular at Essence Fest, made a grand return with an upgraded pop-up shop.
Visitors enjoyed personalized beauty insights and caught glimpses of celebrities endorsing their favorite Mielle Organics products through various engaging activities.
Throughout the weekend, Monique Rodriguez, who transitioned from RN to CEO, showcased her fashion sense in striking outfits like a black and white Dolce & Gabbana polka dot mini dress and a fuchsia pink Bronx & Banco lace runway look.
Rapper and songwriter Lady London was also present, and our Fashion Bomb correspondent Sheek chatted with her about her outfit. The New York native sported a Dsquared choker, a top by African designer Kwame Adusei, and Rene Caovilla shoes.
In contrast, singer Letoya Luckett stunned in a multicolored Cynthia Rowley dress paired with clear yellow pumps. Matching Luckett’s vibrant style, our Fashion Bomb CEO graced the Mielle pop-up in a nude sequined Staud dress, complete with her signature finger waves, and enjoyed the festivities with Luckett, Lance Gross, and others.
