Rick Owens is stepping up the game in luxury footwear with his new ‘Kiss Boots,’ unveiled during his Fall 2025 show in Paris. Collaborating with Parisian designer Victor Clavelly, the Los Angeles native introduced a shoe that’s catching everyone’s eye. The boots have a futuristic and intriguing design, which perfectly aligns with Owens’ reputation for pushing boundaries.
During the show at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, models showcased a variety of innovative shoe styles, each with unique shapes and designs. The standout white, feather-like boots are crafted from heavyweight Groppone cow leather. They are laser-cut and woven to create a chain-linked effect, with Clavelly’s expert touch making the leather appear feather-like.
Once these boots hit social media, reactions were mixed. On the Fashion Bomb Daily Instagram page, some users had strong opinions. For instance, @lockandkiy mentioned that Lenny Kravitz could pull them off, while @tiffanyedent thought they were too conceptual and questioned their practicality outside of a futuristic movie.
