The Bomb Fashion Show on Saturday night at Chelsea Industrial in New York City was nothing short of spectacular. NeNe Leakes, known for her vibrant personality, kicked things off, bringing her trademark flair and style while showcasing outfits from the Fashion Bomb Daily Shop.
The event resembled a Bravo Real Housewives reunion with Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, and Marlo Hampton cheering on Fashion Bomb CEO, Claire Sulmers, and Nene Leakes. The night began with a lively performance by the March Cobras of New York, setting the tone with their energetic drumming down the runway.
Designer Jolie Duzon from St. Maarten was the first to debut her collection, captivating the audience with her bright and stunning dresses. Next up was Canadian designer Fayah Athletics, who impressed with bold unisex kimonos, corsets, and modern silhouettes. Delisa Rose wowed everyone with her seductive yet sophisticated luxury lingerie and bridal collection.
Twin brothers Bruce and Glen showcased their BruceGlen line, featuring vibrant and diverse rainbow print ensembles for both men and women. Contrasting with their colorful designs, Tashee Inc. presented the Natasha brand’s Honeymoon Summer ’24 collection, perfect for pre and post-wedding festivities with its white maxi dresses, swimwear, linen sets, and more.
During intermission, rapper Big Boss Vette had all eyes on her as she walked down the runway in a striking Diesel outfit. Designer CBN.Chicago stunned with elegant evening wear featuring silk, sequins, and unique details, proving their designs are essential for any wardrobe. Allison Elizabeth Brown brought denim to life with leather and fur textures, expressing her pride in being part of the show.
Tiara Peach, known as the “Furry God Mother,” made a statement with her luxurious fur and leather creations, including fanny packs, shorts, and high-heels. The grand finale featured designer Don Morphy, showcasing his elegant suits and proving his mastery in men’s fashion.
Notable industry figures like Ty Hunter, Law Roach, and Misa Hylton added to the event’s prestige. Hylton also highlighted her Fashion Academy, which will benefit from a portion of the show’s ticket sales as Claire Sulmers continues to support the next generation of fashion talent.
Behind the scenes, the show ran smoothly thanks to the contribution of numerous sponsors and over 100 models, along with a large team of hair and makeup artists. Backstage manager Joy Kingsley ensured everything was perfect. Mielle Organics, a key sponsor, provided hair products and gift bags, while Lagos New York catered attendees with flavorful cuisine and beverages. SLAYYY Hair’s CEO Diann Valentine gifted VIP guests with special products, adding to the night’s glamor.
