The 67th annual Grammy Awards kicked off on Sunday evening at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and celebrities showed up in their best fashion. It was a big night for stars like Beyoncé, who won Best Country Album and Album of the Year, and Doechii, who took home Best Rap Album. Kendrick Lamar also had a successful evening, winning a total of five awards, bringing his career total to 22 Grammys.
The fashion at this year’s event was also noteworthy. Jennifer Lopez turned heads in an avant-garde black and gold Stephanie Rolland ensemble, while Victoria Monet wowed everyone in an all-white cutout dress by Oude Waag.
Beyoncé looked stunning in a gold and white custom dress by Schiaparelli, complete with matching gloves and statement pearl earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. She won multiple awards for her album ‘Cowboy Carter’ and her outfit perfectly matched the western theme of the album.
Victoria Monet impressed in a white Oude Waag cutout dress, layered with a sheer cape and accessorized with luxurious Bulgari jewelry. Cardi B dazzled in a multicolor Roberto Cavalli gown with a voluminous feather train, looking flawless just a few months after giving birth.
Doechii, a known fashion risk-taker, wore a Thom Browne outfit to the Grammys. She stood out in a white button-up top layered with a grey pinstripe off-the-shoulder dress with exaggerated hips. Doechii won Best Rap Album for ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal,’ making her the third woman in history to receive that award.
Jennifer Lopez rocked a black cropped turtleneck and a gold sculptural maxi skirt by Stephanie Rolland, mixing classic elegance with modern flair. Taylor Swift represented her beau Travis Kelce by wearing a scarlet red custom Vivienne Westwood mini dress, which featured a built-in corset and a thigh-high slit.
Kendrick Lamar, who now has 22 Grammy Awards, opted for a timeless denim-on-denim look by Maison Margiela. JT made a dramatic entrance in a silver and white Grace Ling gown with a silver-metal breastplate and a white jersey skirt. Janelle Monáe wore an oversized navy power suit from Area’s SS25 collection, complete with shoulder pads and a baker boy hat. Her look was accented with a gold statement necklace and matching chain on her pants.
Lastly, Sabrina Carpenter channeled old Hollywood in a satin baby blue JW Anderson gown adorned with feathers at the waist and hemline, paired with a retro bob hairstyle.
