If there’s anyone who knows how to throw an epic party, it’s Mielle Organics CEO, Monique Rodriguez. She pulled out all the stops for her 40th Cirque Du Soleil themed birthday bash over the weekend.
Monique, who shares the same birthday as her daughters Mia (18) and Kenzie (14), looked dazzling in a custom pink Nicole + Felicia couture gown. She completed her look with fuchsia Rene Caovilla leather ankle wrap sandals and jewelry by American designer Lorraine Schwartz. Her hair, styled in a half-ponytail updo, showed off her beautiful curls and pink circus-themed eyeshadow.
Her husband, Melvin Rodriguez, was by her side, looking sharp in a black and white Balmain tuxedo with standout white lapels and black Prada shades. He accessorized with a diamond watch and a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.
The couple welcomed their guests warmly and felt the love and support from everyone who came out to celebrate with them in Miami. The party featured elaborate circus-themed decorations and stilt walkers, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The highlight was a special performance by artists Ashanti and JaRule.
Among the guests was Fashion Bomb CEO Claire Sulmers, who stunned in a pink feather Retrofête gown, crystal-embellished heels, and a mini Hermes handbag. Also in attendance were Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, and former Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett, showing the diverse and supportive network around Monique.
Tina Knowles made a bold appearance in a black lace jumpsuit with a diamond bow belt and a Chanel embellished bag, accentuated by her signature red lip and blonde highlights. Another standout was Ms. Bling, who wore a rhinestone-embellished dress with matching gloves, accompanied by a Judith Leiber lipstick clutch and black studded Louboutin platforms.
