Milan Fashion Week: Genny Introduces ‘Dreamscape’ Fall Winter 24/25 Collection Boasting Opulent Fabrics and Enchanting Hues

Genny, the Italian luxury brand, took us on a magical journey during Milan Fashion Week with its romantic and idealist designs, featuring flowing lines and intricate details that emanate femininity. Founded in 1962 by Arnaldo and Donatella Girombelli, Genny has become a favorite among celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Christina Aguilera. Notably, Gianni Versace once served as Creative Director in 1973, and the brand is currently steered by talented designer Sara Cavazza Facchini.

Drawing inspiration from American painter Georgia O’Keeffe, the collection showcased dreamlike scenarios with beautiful colors, textures, and imaginative silhouettes. The use of shades such as jade, winter white, powder pink, and dark maroon made it easy to transition the pieces from day to night. The Ready-to-Wear (RTW) line featured stunning variety, catering to different fashion tastes.

For the chicest fall looks, Genny displayed gorgeous heather grey cocoon coats with wide sleeves and impeccable craftsmanship. The brand also experimented with a progression of colors and fabrics, including woven wool that mimicked a fur effect.

Genny’s collection for Fall Winter 24/25 extended into evening wear, incorporating sequins and satin in trousers and dresses, sensuous organza tops, and velvet for bell sleeves, showcasing Facchini’s limitless creativity.
