Milan Fashion Week: Dolce & Gabbana’s FW 24/25 Tuxedo Line Revolutionizes Women's Formal Attire

Dolce & Gabbana’s latest Fall Winter 24/25 collection debuted on a black and gold runway, making it one of the most extravagant shows at Milan Fashion Week. The Sicilian designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, have certainly come a long way since their first Milan Fashion Week show in 1985. Over the years, they’ve become a legendary brand known for their sensual dresses and menswear.

The highlight of the event was seeing the iconic Naomi Campbell close the show, which left attendees in awe. The models walked down the runway wearing fishnet face masks and tilted hats, presenting a fresh twist on the classic tuxedo. Dolce & Gabbana managed to reimagine the masculine silhouette to fit the female form beautifully.

The collection featured all the traditional elements of a tuxedo, including oversized lapel suits, white shirts paired with bow ties, crisp trousers, and silk cummerbunds. Many of the outfits seemed to blur the lines between menswear and womenswear, making them versatile and unisex.

The predominantly black collection was accentuated with touches of gold and silver, along with D&G’s signature leopard print. One standout look included a fierce leopard trench coat with a matching hat, giving off a unique jungle vibe reminiscent of Cruella Deville.

Gold polka dots appeared on voluminous organza blouses with oversized bows and sheer dresses with feathered necklines and sleeves. Feathers were a significant element this season, highlighted by a stunning black feather trench coat with satin lapels, unlike anything recently seen on the runway.

Overall, Dolce & Gabbana wowed us this season with a spectacular collection that felt both innovative and luxurious. The Fall Winter 24/25 collection epitomized elegance, offering something fresh and modern for today’s woman.
